Dr. Mhd Samer Alhussein was born on 28 November 1971 in Morek City, Hama Governorate, Syria. He pursued a career in medicine, graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry, Hama University in 1994 with a degree in Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

Following his medical studies, Dr. Alhussein transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding his first business — Alhussein Foodstuff Trading L.L.C. — in Syria in 1995. This marked the beginning of a career trajectory that would span multiple sectors, countries, and decades.

Over the next decade, he expanded into metals trading, international transport, and agricultural manufacturing. In 2004, he co-founded Alhussein for Metal Trading and International Transport in Syria, and in 2009 established an Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility in Khan Sheikhoun, Hama Governorate.

In 2014, Dr. Mhd Samer Alhussein founded Emirates European Hospital LLC in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates — a comprehensive private medical facility providing healthcare and day-surgery services. This represents his flagship investment and the culmination of his intersection between medical expertise and business acumen.

He also holds strategic partnerships in Green Life Medical Clinic, Dubai and Ebn Haian Healthcare, Sharjah — demonstrating his commitment to expanding accessible private healthcare across the UAE.

Dr. Alhussein continued to build his portfolio in the UAE and internationally. In 2020, he founded LONG ROAD Foodstuff Trading LLC in Dubai, focused on food commodities including pistachio export and agricultural products. In 2022, he established Steel Gate General Trading LLC in Dubai, extending his industrial metals experience to the UAE market. In 2023, he founded LONG ROAD Foodstuff Trading L.L.C. in Syria, connecting his UAE operations with his origins.

Dr. Mhd Samer Alhussein has been recognised by the Hama Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a First-Class Trader (Registration No. 7904) since 2005. In 2023, he was registered as a member of the Hama Chamber of Industry (Registration No. 1330). In 2025, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Hama Chamber of Industry — reflecting his standing as a community leader and his continued connection to Syria despite his regional operations from the UAE.
