Dr. Mhd Samer Alhussein has built a diversified business career spanning three decades, with operations across Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Romania, and European markets.

Beginning with foodstuff trading in Syria in 1995, he progressively expanded into metals trading, international transport, and agro-industrial manufacturing before pivoting to healthcare investment in the UAE. His LONG ROAD brand represents his food commodities expertise exported to international markets, while Steel Gate General Trading extends his industrial metals experience to Dubai.

Throughout his career, Dr. Alhussein has been recognised by Syrian chambers of commerce and industry for his commercial leadership, achieving First-Class Trader status with the Hama Chamber of Commerce and being elected to the Board of Directors of the Hama Chamber of Industry in 2025.
